- If a member of AIAC, the recipient must have the following qualifications:
Has been a member for at least 10 years
- Has held office or served on a committee of AIAC
- Has made some outstanding contribution to the civic, social and political life of the city, state or nation.
- If not a member of the AIAC, the recipient must have the following qualifications:
- Is a person of Italian extraction living in Maryland
- Is known for his or her outstanding contribution to the civic, social and political life of the city, state or nation.
